Char is a mom, a woodworker and an educator from Atlanta, Georgia; she is the exuberant force behind The Wooden Maven, her design-build company. We're feeling mighty lucky to have her here at HatchSpace, sharing her talent and joy for the craft of woodworking!Learn. Students will learn how to mill rough lumber, cutting square, uniform pieces using the miter saw, table saw, jointer and planer. Next they'll shape their table legs using the table saw and a specialty jig, then assemble the table using pocket hole joinery. This class is designed especially for students with little or no woodworking experience who are looking for a fun and easy project to dive into.Make.
