In furniture, it creates a deep, complex ebonized finish, with tons of character. It can be used on everything from a small picture frame to a large table.Learn. Using a handheld propane torch and a practice board, you'll learn proper charring technique, and explore the different effects that can be achieved. After charring, a variety of hand techniques (brushing, sanding, washing) are used to prepare the piece for finish.Make. You'll make a small serving tray out of hardwood to put these new skills to use in a simple but beautiful project.
